- ActiveViam is seeking bright and enthusiastic Java Software Engineers to join our expanding business solutions team
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- A deep passion for mathematics and problem-solving, with the ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world challenges
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong expertise in Core Java
- Proficiency in performance analysis, debugging, and optimization techniques
- Experience with Spring IoC and Spring Security frameworks
- Solid understanding of OOP, multithreading, and data structures
What the job involves
- You will play a critical role in analyzing financial regulations, understanding their mathematical underpinnings, and developing innovative, scalable solutions
- This position offers opportunities to work with advanced technologies, take ownership of projects, and collaborate across our global network
- Analyze and interpret financial regulations, focusing on their mathematical foundations
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using Java
- Collaborate with product managers, domain experts, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization to ensure software efficiency and reliability
- Investigate and resolve technical challenges, ensuring robust and reliable code delivery
- Provide Level 3 (L3) support for customer-reported issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in finance and software development
