Who you are
- An excellent understanding of a range of data protection regulation and frameworks
- Strong technical background of current and emerging ICO regulatory requirements
- An awareness of emerging UK legislation, codes of practice and industry guidelines affecting the Moneysupermarket Group
- Strong communications skills, both orally and in writing across all levels of management
- Ability to form close working relationships and influence senior stakeholders
What the job involves
- As Head of Data Protection, this is your chance to actively make a difference, in how our function operates
- Working with our wider team, you will provide support and leadership, to drive forward continuous improvements within our Data Protection function
- The objective of this role is to provide data protection advice, oversight and support to stakeholders, managing a team to ensure that risks and issues are appropriately identified and handled
- Engaging with management across the Technology and Data teams supporting BAU activities and critical initiatives
- Evolving, embedding and operating elements of an effective Risk & Compliance framework and culture, with a particular focus data protection; and
- Leading and motivating a team of data protection professionals
