Who you are
- We are seeking an individual who is experiences in the preparation of UK tax returns and tax analysis either in an in-house or tax audit capacity
- A solid background in tax. ATT/CTA accountancy qualified (or part-qualified) is advantageous
- Good excel skills and exposure to overseas tax compliance and tax technology (Workday experience preferable) is beneficial
- Organised, proactive and adaptable to change,
- A problem solver with a keen eye for details
What the job involves
- As part of a rapidly expanding business, Darktrace’s tax team faces a wide range of tax obligations and issues
- Reporting to the Group Senior Tax Manager, the role will assist with global tax compliance and tax statutory reporting in over 20 jurisdictions
- In this role you'll be supporting the management of the global calendar, assisting in the preparation and review of indirect tax and corporate income tax returns in over 20 jurisdictions with both the internal tax team and outsource providers
- Supporting UK corporate tax compliance,
- Assisting with consolidated group tax reporting at half year and year end,
- Preparing UK and overseas subsidiary account tax notes,
- Assisting in the preparation of transfer pricing reports and benchmarks,
- Supporting the RDEC tax credit claim process
- Supporting the business with ad hoc tax queries
