Who you are
- Financial Analysis – Ability to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and recognise key trends
- Accuracy & Attention to Detail – High level of precision in financial record-keeping and data entry
- Organisational Skills – Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines effectively
- Communication – Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information to various stakeholders

- Professional Development – Ambition to pursue a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ICAS, CIMA)
- Experience – Graduate-level qualification or 1–2 years of accounting experience
What the job involves

- Financial Data Entry – Accurately record payroll, invoices, expenses, payments, and other financial transactions in accounting software or spreadsheets
- Invoice Processing – Verify and process incoming invoices for payment, ensuring proper approvals and compliance with company policies
- Expense Management – Assist in reviewing and processing employee expense claims, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to company policies
- Bank Reconciliation – Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements to maintain accuracy and consistency in financial records
- Accounts Payable & Receivable – Support the management of accounts, including issuing invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and processing supplier invoices
- Financial Reporting – Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements to support business decision-making
- Compliance & Audit Support – Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies, assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation
- Record-Keeping – Maintain well-organised, accurate, and up-to-date financial records
- General Finance Support – Provide assistance to the finance team with various tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed
