Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of SaaS sales management experience, ideally within the security industry, with a strong understanding of the competitive landscape
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams of 4+ direct reports
- In-depth understanding of lead generation processes and SDR compensation plans
- Excellent communication and team management abilities, fostering positive relationships and driving collaboration
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a driven and experienced Manager of Inside Sales and BDRs to get the word out and join our mission to change the future of cloud security
- We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Development Manager to lead our US-based team and drive impactful pipeline generation
- This role is pivotal in monitoring key sales metrics and managing the US pipeline lifecycle, demanding strong cross-functional collaboration and exceptional communication skills
- Manage a team of 7 direct reports across our US-based SDR and MDR functions, fostering a high-performance culture
- Define and track key sales targets, ensuring the team consistently exceeds expectations
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to our lead generation processes, maximizing efficiency and effectiveness
- Coordinate and manage departmental projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with strategic goals
- Develop accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, providing valuable insights for business planning
- Refine and monitor SDR compensation and measurement plans to drive performance
- Build an open and communicative environment, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with other GTM functions: Channel, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to drive engagement and achieve shared objectives
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of pipeline and sales stage data within Salesforce.com
- Actively scout and evaluate emerging technologies for SDR and lead generation, recommending and implementing new tools and strategies to enhance team performance and maintain a competitive edge

Orca Security offers security services for cloud-based services and infrastructure. The company builds patented SideScannning technology, which allows security managers to look into their cloud systems, identify vulnerabilities and ensure their most important data is protected.
Orca Security was founded back in 2019 by two ex-employees of established security provider Check Point. The Orca Security system is attractive to clients as it can be deployed and operating within minutes.
Recent cyberattacks on critical infrastructure and national systems have boosted interest in cybersecurity companies. Investors are hoping that platforms such as Orca Security can mitigate some of these threats. Spending on security is expected to surpass $150 billion, and there are plenty of other providers offering protection, including Check Point and Lightspin. However, in 2023 Orca Security became the first firm to integrate ChatGPT features into its alert automation network, exemplifying how the company continues to maintain an edge in the industry.
