Who you are

5+ years experience building production ML systems
Python, pytorch, distributed systems
Experience building and optimizing latency and throughput of machine learning systems and GPU workloads
An obsession with great user experiences, getting the details right, iterating & learning rapidly, and working hard
A love of music (listening, exploring, making) is a huge plus

What the job involves

We’re looking for early members of our machine learning team
You’ll work closely with the founding team and have ownership of a wide variety of technical decisions on how we build and deploy our state of the art ML models
Design and build Suno’s machine learning models and infrastructure
Build and deploy systems comprising multiple low-latency machine learning models
Build and optimize distributed training systems
Optimize the performance, joy, beauty, and feel of our products

Our take

Suno is a company leveraging AI for music creation, attempting to make it accessible to everyone, regardless of their musical background. The platform allows users to generate complete songs by inputting text prompts, breaking down the barriers that traditionally separate amateurs from professional musicians.

Unlike other AI music tools, Suno focuses on ease-of-use, enabling even those with no music theory knowledge to produce professional-sounding songs. This approach has already attracted a diverse user base, including everyday people and GRAMMY-winning artists. In fact, in just eight months, the platform has garnered over 10 million users.

Suno has also raised an impressive amount of investment. The latest financial boost will support product development, help expand the team and enhance the platform's capabilities. Future plans include developing new features and addressing potential copyright issues, ensuring Suno can lead the charge in AI-driven music creation.
