Role
Who you are
- Hands on experience in building fault-tolerant and scalable systems
- Experience with running highly available databases such as RDS, MSSQL, Azure SQL, Azure SQL managed instances
- Hands on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure
- Strong scripting abilities in Python, Powershell, Perl, Go
- Passion for resolving reliability issues and identify strategies to mitigate going forward
- Automation mindset - if you can automate it, do it
Desirable
- Experience 5+ years of usage enterprise edition of MSSQL server with high availability solutions
- Experience 3+ years of working with AWS and Azure clouds
- MS certification is a plus
What the job involves
- The Intapp Cloud Platform is a rapidly growing collection of cloud services. As part of a global team, the ideal candidate will be able to quickly move between architecture, design, and daily operations with an emphasis on scalability and automation
- As part of the Database Engineering team, you will be responsible for all of Intapp Production database infrastructure. In this role, you will be working closely with our product teams to optimize their software
- With our SRE team to implement availability and performance improvements, and with Infrastructure Engineering team to design and develop new solutions
- Database sizing and space management, tuning and diagnostics
- SQL Server database administration, configuration, load balancing, performance tuning, backup and recovery
- Enhance existing monitoring tools configurations to predict system issues. React to alerts and resolve issues
- Deploying High availability solutions. Propose, deploy, support, optimize
- Security management. Audit, optimize, propose, grant, revoke
- Incident management. Take responsibility, lead, resolve, analyze
- Design, implement and support databases migrations between AWS and Azure clouds
