Role
Who you are
- 2 years minimum of People Management experience
- 5 years minimum engineering experience
- A background leading engineering teams in the Software Development, DevOPS and/or Infrastructure Engineering teams. Bonus point for experience managing a remote distributed team
- Strong communication skills for working across a large organization and building relationships with diverse peers and leadership
- Experience in enterprise application on release management, CI, and automation
- Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernates, Golang and microservice architectures
- What's nice to have
Desirable
- A Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields is highly preferred
- Cursory knowledge with Terraform Cloud and Terraform Enterprise is a plus
- As HashiCorp is a global company, previous experience successfully with working with and leading teams in other countries is desired

- Hire within the US and Canada to grow the team
- Support the career growth of a diversified engineering team
- Work closely with collaborators across the company to define delivery roadmaps that consist of engineering needs, product feature requests and field requests on a predictable schedule with consistent stability and reliability
- Work with Engineering leadership in the Infrastructure product line to shape and grow the Terraform Enterprise organization
- Lean on the technical background to guide design and architecture conversations between engineers to a clear outcome
