Role

Who you are

  • 2 years minimum of People Management experience
  • 5 years minimum engineering experience
  • A background leading engineering teams in the Software Development, DevOPS and/or Infrastructure Engineering teams. Bonus point for experience managing a remote distributed team
  • Strong communication skills for working across a large organization and building relationships with diverse peers and leadership
  • Experience in enterprise application on release management, CI, and automation
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernates, Golang and microservice architectures
  • What's nice to have

Desirable

  • A Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields is highly preferred
  • Cursory knowledge with Terraform Cloud and Terraform Enterprise is a plus
  • As HashiCorp is a global company, previous experience successfully with working with and leading teams in other countries is desired

  • Hire within the US and Canada to grow the team
  • Support the career growth of a diversified engineering team
  • Work closely with collaborators across the company to define delivery roadmaps that consist of engineering needs, product feature requests and field requests on a predictable schedule with consistent stability and reliability
  • Work with Engineering leadership in the Infrastructure product line to shape and grow the Terraform Enterprise organization
  • Lean on the technical background to guide design and architecture conversations between engineers to a clear outcome
