Who you are

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on Web Development using React
Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and modern frameworks and libraries
Experience building and maintaining production quality applications using React, Typescript, Next.js or similar tools and frameworks
Experience with responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and testing frameworks
Experience translating Figma designs into reusable components and screens
Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Desirable

Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains
Experience working with headless CMS systems
General passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrency

What the job involves

As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications using the React library
You will ensure these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain, meeting both technical and consumer needs
Develop user-facing interfaces and features
Build reusable components into a component library for future use
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Work closely with engineers and UX Designers to ensure the successful implementation of product specifications
Other duties as assigned

Believing in the benefits of briging cryptocurrency to a broader audience, CoinFlip has been providing a network of Bitcoin ATMs since 2015, with over 4,000 now located across the US and Canada.

Since its inception the company has stood out among competitors with its low fees, up to 30% lower than its larger rivals General Bytes and Genesis Coin. However, the company's vision reaches beyond just providing kiosks, with the recent introduction of Olliv, a self-custodial wallet aimed at simplifying crypto and allowing easy onboarding into the crypto economy.

The importance of this step for CoinFlip's mission cannot be understated - by giving new users the tools needed to engage with crypto it also increases adoption and therefore the need for real world withdrawals of cryptocurrency through its ATM network. Going forward CoinFlip's two-pronged approach here may well see it leap over the competition and forge a commanding lead in its market.
