Who you are
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in Java, C++, C#, Python, or Go
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field or experience
- Experience building and working with complex, latency-sensitive, event-driven trading systems, and ideally execution or market making algos
- An energetic, creative, and autonomous self-starter
- Passionate about using software to solve complex business problems
- Strong communication skills
What the job involves
- As an software engineer in the trading team, your main focus is on crafting and maintaining the models driving our algo trading suite
- Your day-to-day involves collaborating with product managers and quants to refine existing strategies, create new models, and help to understand execution following client escalations
- You'll be part of a distributed team of algorithmic trading engineers, working together to build efficient low-latency OMS and SOR components for trading digital assets
- Design, implement, test and deploy high performance backend systems and services, including market data connectivity, algorithmic execution, and trade analytic engines
- Improve the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of our trading platform
- Work with the product team and our clients to deliver solutions that support the full trade lifecycle
- Be test driven to ensure strong automated test coverage of our algorithmic trading engine and related components
- Own project deliveries; from collaborating on initial designs to implementation and testing
- Be part of an open and transparent culture as we grow the team

Talos addresses the problem of digital asset trading between institutions, helping them to securely sidestep these obstacles into a fresh market with potentially huge returns.
