Staff Accountant, User Interviews

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting role in an industry with a fast-paced environment (preferably at a SaaS company)
• Strong attention to detail and basic understanding of US GAAP
• Totally comfortable in Google Suite
• Proficient in Excel - you nerd out on those keyboard shortcuts
• A quick study who picks up new systems with ease
• Strong sense of urgency and can manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication skills and can convey accounting/financial concepts to a diverse audience

• Our Finance Team is a highly collaborative team that will continue to grow, and you’ll regularly partner with other departments at the company (including Analytics, Revenue, Operations, Legal and others)
• As the Staff Accountant you’ll own accounting tasks including (but not limited to) reconciliations, AP/AR processing, and will support month-end reporting. You’ll contribute to timely completion of the month-end close and will ensure that all routine accounting processes are running efficiently
• The Staff Accountant will partner with other departments across the company and will report directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, while working closely with the Senior Accountant
• Processing of Accounts Payable and preparation of corresponding reconciliations
• Processing of Accounts Receivables (including payment application) and preparation of corresponding reconciliations
• Partner within the team and across departments on special projects and process improvements
• Support the month-end close reporting cycle
• Identify, address, and manage financial reporting risks
• Identify and address gaps or inefficiencies in processes and controls
• Understand department policies
