Who you are

3 to 5 years of software development experience in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, notably Python, and familiarity with at least one other language (e.g., JavaScript, Go, Rust)
Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle, with experience with both the development and maintenance phases
Demonstrated practical experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deploying applications and managing cloud-based resources
Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design, with the ability to apply these concepts to real-world problems effectively
Strong experience in backend development, including API design and implementation, as well as proficient management of relational and non-relational databases
Excellent problem-solving skills with a consistent track record of diagnosing and resolving complex issues efficiently
High level of attention to detail in coding and debugging

Desirable

Previous experience in a startup environment
Familiarity with frontend development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration frameworks
Knowledge of machine learning, analytics, and data science practices

What the job involves

Contribute to the design and development of scalable, high-performance software applications
Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define and design new features. Provide input on project requirements and potential solutions
Ensure high standards of code quality through comprehensive testing and participate in code reviews. Assist in maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks to streamline development processes
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues. Help identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance reliability and performance under the guidance of senior engineers
Actively participate in various stages of the service lifecycle, from initial design through deployment, with a focus on executing well-defined project components
Assist in managing project timelines and resources. Provide updates on project progress and identify any potential issues to senior team members
