Who you are
- Recent graduate from a quantitative undergraduate degree - STEM preferable.
- Experience producing analysis and creating data visualisations in Excel.
- Highly analytical and keen problem solver.
- Ability to explain complex topics and issues in a way that is accessible to a wider range of audiences.
- Proactive and takes the initiative.
- Inquisitive, not afraid of the unknown, and a willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude and the desire to work in a fast paced, rapidly growing company, and sector.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships across various business units.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Desirable
- Experience working with SQL, Tableau, and databases is desirable.
- Prior experience in market research, and statistical methods and analysis desirable.
- An interest in renewable energy infrastructure/technology/energy transition is a bonus.
What the job involves
- Assisting Osprey's Commercial Team with evaluating and launching new business ventures and initiatives, designed to generate additional revenue or optimise costs.
- Data analysis to derive key business insights for the executive team.
- Market research, demand & supply side market sizing, market segmentation, competitive landscape tracking and opportunity evaluation.
- Assistance with the reporting of Osprey’s energy procurement and pricing to the executive team.
- Owning and managing internal UK EV market knowledge base and data to guide wider business strategy - including, but not limited to; EV sales, EV brands and charging/battery technological developments and capabilities.
- Reporting on key business metrics to executive team.
- Working cross functionally to deliver new initiatives.
- Adhoc commercial project work as required.
