Role
Who you are
- 5+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, or strategy roles in institutional financial services or fintech
- Ability to understand abstract and clearly communicate complex technical products to crypto-native and prospective strategic partners
- Perfect understanding of:
- FinTech infrastructure (custodians, wallets, exchanges, BaaS)
- Embedded lending and credit flows
- Onchain lending/borrowing protocols and DeFi rails
- Proven track record in negotiating and closing large-scale integrations or GTM partnerships—ideally with FinTechs, wallets, or exchanges
- Deep network across crypto-native and FinTech distribution platforms
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and persuasion skills
- Operates with low ego, strong curiosity, and bias toward ownership
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
What the job involves
- As Senior in Strategic Partnerships you will be responsible for large-scale, high-impact distribution channels embedding Morpho at the core of their product line
- Be at the forefront of the Strategic Verticals (FinTechs, CEXes, NeoBanks, multisig wallet providers, infrastructure APIs, Middleware and Digital Asset Custody) to identify key market trends, leading participants’ landscape, regulatory environments, and growth opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective strategic partnerships leads for Morpho
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key strategic stakeholders capable of scaling Morpho’s usage via embedded lending/borrowing products. (Like Coinbase Bitcoin-backed loan product, powered by Morpho)
- Lead end-to-end commercial and product discussions — prospecting, grasping product requirements, partnership structuring, negotiating, and onboarding. Capable of answering and winning competitive RFPs
- Manage and grow strategic partnerships, ensuring integrations succeed post-close and lead to sustainable lending/borrowing flows
- Travel onsite to move forward negotiations and educate partners
- Co-design with strategic partner,s tailored lending products (embedded borrow/lend experiences, SDK/API powered flows)
- Work with key Morpho stakeholders (Morpho internal teams, Morpho-aligned distribution channels, Morpho curators, and bespoke ecosystems) to build the best onchain product.s

Morpho Labs’ Morpho Blue is a blockchain layer for protocols and apps to be built upon. With the ability to externalise risk management, it allows blockchain creators to integrate the layer into their own risk and compliance systems. Ultimately, Morpho is a lending protocol built upon open-source algorithms.
Originally founded as an optimisation layer for interest rate improvements, it has now evolved into a base layer for builders of crypto lending applications. With the intention of making DeFi protocols more accessible and easy to use through a user-controlled risk assessment platform, the company has attracted significant interest from big-hitting investors such as Coinbase Ventures and Variant. Morpho intends to use these funds to accelerate its mission to make financial infrastructure a public good.
