What the job involves
- We're looking for a People Ops Intern who can juggle talent scheduling like a circus performer, stock our kitchen like a culinary mastermind, and tackle the wild world of startup operations with the enthusiasm of a golden retriever discovering a tennis ball factory
- The Intern on our People Ops team will have the opportunity to work on the highest-priority operational initiatives associated with rapidly scaling a new global technology start-up
- The pace will be fast, the learning will be firehose-caliber, and the impact will be eminently tangible
- No task is too big or too small for the right candidate, because getting even the little things right is essential to building a successful organization
- Translation: You'll be drinking from the fire hose of knowledge while simultaneously keeping everyone fed, scheduled, and happy
- It's like being a personal assistant to 100+ people, but way more fun and with better snacks
- 🗓️ Master of Time and Space- Wrangle calendars, coordinate interviews, and make scheduling conflicts disappear faster than free pizza in the break room
- 🍕 Chief Kitchen Happiness Officer- Keep our snack game strong, ensure the coffee never runs out (seriously, lives depend on this), and maintain our legendary reputation for having the best-stocked kitchen in the building
- 🏢 Onsite Operations Ninja- Handle the day-to-day magic that keeps our office running smoothly, from vendor coordination to making sure we never run out of the good pens
- Startup Swiss Army Knife- Dive headfirst into the beautiful chaos of scaling a global tech startup, where every day brings new challenges and the learning curve looks more like a learning cliff
Our take
DevRev helps developers build better products for customers through a platform that connects them to the revenue their applications generate. Their headless, dev-centric CRM hopes to help developers clock technical issues faster by showing more directly how customers use their products.
When the company emerged from stealth mode in 2021, they were already well backed by considerable funding and a highly experienced leadership team. Collating and usefully displaying customer feedback for developers, especially using AI and machine learning, is a tough nut to crack. So the DevRev has been savvy in front-loading talent and investment.
The founders’ previous venture Nutanix saw huge success, reaching Unicorn status before going public in 2016. DevRev and its team reached the same in 2024 off the back of Series A funding. This ambitious startup has already delivered the first iteration of what it hopes will become the largest global developer relations product.
