Who you are
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (or an intriguing reason for not having one)
- You have 3+ years of experience as a modern IT System Administrator / DevOps / Security / infrastructure engineer
- Proficiency in using various security tools and software for monitoring, assessment, and protection
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, especially specific cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- You are highly proficient in spoken and written English and have a good command of German
- Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus
What the job involves
- The Corporate Engineering team is responsible for creating and running air up’s corporate infrastructure, IT operations, SaaS/enterprise applications integration, networking, systems, and device management with frequent interaction and some overlap with security engineering, compliance, governance, and tech support

- As a Corporate/Security Engineer, you are responsible for building and evolving our corporate IT infrastructure, as well as being responsible for security-related topics from user endpoint to security governance
- You create, build, test, deliver and support infrastructure, automation, and employees tooling
- Architect and maintain a Zero Trust corporate infrastructure
- You lead infrastructure changes, evolve system design and foster good engineering practices
- Hands On: Design and deploy a unified detection and response pipeline using Security as a Code approach
- Security Policy Management: Create, implement, manage, and enforce security policies and procedures
- Security Assessment & Monitoring: Drive continuous threat modeling and automated vulnerability management

Everyone knows how important it is to drink water, but with so many alternative drinks available and global consumption of sugar at an all-time high, water is not often our first choice of hydration. The alternatives invariably contain untold amounts of sugar, additives, and more. So consumers are forced to choose between taste or health.
air up has developed a refillable bottle that turns plain tap water into flavoured water. By transporting scent through air and using the biological effect of retronasal olfaction, the brand has created an impression of taste that is actually scent. The idea redefines drinking water in a way that enables consumers to drink flavoured drinks that are additive-free and sugar-free.
The business aims to be conscious of people’s health and the environment. Compared to the average bottled drink, air up uses far less plastic. And, the small, lightweight scent Pods mean that the logistics are carbon-efficient and kinder to the planet. It's growing fast: so far, the startup has raised a total $67.8 million over the course of 5 funding rounds.
Since its launch on the market in July 2019, the company has already reached in excess of €100M in revenue and has served more than 1 million customers across Europe. This has already led to a huge reduction in single-use plastic and a decline in sugar consumption.
