Who you are
- Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field
- OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field
- Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python, (2) Java, (3) big data, (4) cloud technologies; (5) API’s (6) microservices; (7) RESTFul, (8) GraphQL , (9) web socket; (10) distributed and scalable applications; (11) OOP’s, (12) MVC architecture, (13) IOT and data processing. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable
What the job involves
- Lead the development and testing of our systems and services
- Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product
- Help translate user stories into technical solutions
- Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment
- Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team
- Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies
- Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers across the organization
- Collaborate and build a strong relationships with product and design
