Role
Who you are
- You have run creator, influencer or partnership deals yourself, and you can point to what they delivered.
- You hunt. You are comfortable sourcing and pitching at volume, because the big winners are rare and you work through a lot of misses to find them.
- You judge a creator on whether their audience and content genuinely fit the brand, not on follower count.
- You close and you talk money. You negotiate terms and content usage rights without flinching.
- You act on the numbers and drop an underperforming creator even when you like them. This is the one that matters most in this role.
- You are as reliable on the tracking and admin as you are persuasive in a pitch. The measurement only works if someone keeps it clean.
- You are self-directed. You have owned a pipeline or a channel before, not just supported someone else's.
Desirable
- You have worked with creators on considered, low-frequency purchases like travel or other big-ticket buys. Selling something people save up for is a different craft from a product they can post about daily.
- You know the US creator market, or you have a US network. The US is our priority.
- You have worked with paid social, or with content licensing and usage rights.
- You have a consumer, travel or lifestyle background.
- You have some B2B or corporate partnership experience, useful for later work-perk and brand experiments.
What the job involves
- Own our creator partnerships end to end: sourcing, pitching, closing, and running the relationships. This is about 80% of your first year.
- Lead our US push, a focused run of creator deals over the next year, with the UK held steady for content supply and niche audiences.
- Run a scorecard on every deal: how many new customers a creator actually drives, and at what cost.
- Set and hold pre-agreed rules on when to walk away from a deal and when to double down.
- Negotiate content usage rights as standard, since every deal also feeds our paid ads.
- Spot creators already posting about us unpaid and turn them into paid deals. Some of these have been our best performers.
- Keep our measurement clean, so we can trust what the numbers tell us.
- Later, and only once creators are humming, explore Journee as a work perk for companies and selective brand partnerships.

Our take
Holiday booking can quickly become a research project in and of itself. Review sites, comparison tools and social feeds can quickly become overwhelming. Journee believes the true joy of travel often comes from moments of spontaneity, not from the planning. Indeed, Journee is a company that removes the planning aspect entirely, targeting a market of travellers who prefer less control over their destination, more spontaneity and surprise, rather than rigorous research.
Covering the UK, US and Canada, Journee's customers, known as "Explorers", complete a detailed questionnaire that covers budget, interests, travel dates and destinations they'd like to avoid. Journee plans and books everything from flights to accommodation and experiences, upping the anticipation for the trip by sending customers clues. The destination itself is kept secret until they arrive at the airport, and the anticipation of the reveal is treated as part of the experiential product.
This new approach to travelling requires a higher level of trust. Destination matching and travel problem troubleshooting must be of high quality, so Journee's growth and future success will depend on its consistency on these fronts. It's a novel concept and is likely to find success with Gen Z due to its spontaneous, stress-free nature. To stay competitive within the travel industry, Journee will need to continue to provide best-in-class remote problem resolution to help travellers with any issues they run into, and expand beyond short-haul travel into longer, more ambitious trips.
