- Want to be part of one of Europe's fastest-growing climate tech startups? We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Engineer to play an elementary role in helping us transform every company into a sustainable business

- You bring around 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in product development across our stack, including Frontend (React, Redux), backend (NestJS), and data (PostgreSQL)
- You write well-structured and high-quality code that’s easily maintainable by others
- You are passionate about ClimateTech and have a strong commitment to fighting climate change
- You are self-driven and capable of working with minimal supervision
- You speak fluent English with excellent written and spoken communication skills
- You are ideally located in Germany, Portugal, the Czech Republic, the UK, or the Netherlands
What the job involves
- In this key role, you will be a hands-on product engineer, using our state-of-the-art tech stack to solve real user problems that will positively impact the sustainability of our climate
- You take responsibility for new features, design and implement them
- You contribute to improving the Cozero product by being a sparring partner to the Product Manager
- You will make architecture decisions as a key member of our engineering team
- You will participate in discussions on how to maintain and improve our micro-service architecture
- You will work closely with senior engineers to identify and mitigate tech debt
- You plan, code, test, QA, and deploy
- We run on AWS, TypeScript, NestJS, React, and more. As a Full Stack engineer, we trust you can get quickly up to speed on our technology stack, so if you don’t have experience with parts of our stack, you will be able to learn a lot!
Our take
Conflicts in the 2020s and climate change are challenging energy companies, leading to an unprecedented demand for more commitment to renewable raw materials from all stakeholders. For companies, this means it is now no longer a luxury to save CO2 emissions where possible.
Cozero is a software company creating a product to fit that need. The company was founded to enable companies to effectively decarbonize. The startup differentiates itself from competitors by framing these CO2 savings in the language of business - each measure details CO2 saved per Euro invested.
The startup’s next steps will involve pursuing multiple integrations with all types of business software and accounting tools. The more data the platform can touch, the more powerful a tool it will provide.
In the future, Cozero could become a part of company efforts to meet increasingly tight emissions regulations. However, in order to do that, it must be able to prove it can meet the high standards of climate auditors - no mean feat, but one that Cozero will believe its data-first approach can resolve.
