Who you are
- We’re looking for someone who thrives in the details — a hands-on operator of Google Ad Manager — but who’s also curious, growth-minded, and ready to take on broader responsibilities over time
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Google Ad Manager (GAM) — ideally in a mobile or programmatic environment
- A deep understanding of campaign trafficking, ad serving logic, targeting, and troubleshooting in GAM
- Familiarity with SSPs, header bidding, and first-price auction mechanics
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot issues before they become problems
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
- A growth mindset — eager to learn, improve systems, and take on more responsibility over time
- Experience with tools like Confiant, Prebid, Looker, Charles Proxy, or MMPs (AppsFlyer, Kochava)
What the job involves
- We are looking for a highly capable and detail-oriented Ad Operations Manager to join our growing monetization team
- This “hands-on-keyboard” role sits at the heart of our Ads business, ensuring smooth campaign execution, yield optimization, and technical excellence across our programmatic and direct-sold ad inventory
- Set up, traffic, and monitor ad campaigns across Google Ad Manager, including direct-sold, programmatic, and house inventory
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to ensure accurate campaign implementation, pacing, and delivery
- Troubleshoot delivery issues and technical discrepancies across creative, targeting, and inventory configuration
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams on SDK integration, new ad formats, and technical QA
- Analyze campaign performance and make real-time adjustments to improve delivery and yield
- Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot ad tags, ensuring proper ad delivery, accurate tracking, and minimal downtime
- Run experiments to improve yield by managing different demand partners
- Contribute to floor price strategies, demand partner configurations, and ad quality monitoring
- Help define and document ad ops processes, checklists, and escalation protocols
- Stay current on industry shifts in ad tech — especially around privacy, auction dynamics, and monetization best practices
