Role

Who you are

  • We’re looking for someone with 12-18 months' experience managing a 360 sales cycle, including prospecting, pipeline management and delivering a thorough end-to-end sales process
  • You have a proven track record of generating pipeline and closing new business revenue
  • You have experience with outbound sales, from researching accounts & identifying key contracts to building targeted messaging & closing deals
  • You’re comfortable operating in a small team, and are able to adapt, be flexible and collaborate - even when the processes aren’t 100%
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in SaaS sales, with a proven ability selling software solutions tailored to their prospect’s business needs

What the job involves

  • You'll be a key member of the Sales team at Otta, finding great companies for us to connect with, so that we can help even more candidates to secure their dream job
  • You’ll be reporting to Steph (Head of Sales), and work closely with our Commercial leaders Jack (Commercial Director) and Lauren (CS Lead) to drive behavioural change amongst companies and help solve some of the biggest problems that make job search so frustrating today
  • You’ll manage and close inbound leads while actively generating new opportunities through outbound efforts. A track record of success in converting both inbound and outbound opportunities is key
  • You’ll test and iterate on ideas to flush out a high quality pipeline, while ensuring we anticipate, manage and influence companies that aren’t ready to commit
  • Our culture is one where you’re encouraged to challenge our processes and show initiative, so if you feel something isn’t working, change it

Application process

  • Exploratory call with Claudia (People Partner) to understand your motivations and what energises you (30 minutes)
  • A mock sales meeting where you'll pitch your choice of sales enablement tool to one of our Senior Account Executives (e.g. Hubspot, Sales Nav), including a follow-up email (45 mins)
  • Skills interview with Steph (Head of Sales) and Jack (Commercial Director) to discuss your approach to certain scenarios, specific to Otta and the role, and your working style (60 mins)
  • Values interview with Caroline (Country Manager), to discuss what you might bring to the role, how you might embody our values, and any final questions from you (1 hour)
