Senior Software Engineer, Warby Parker

• Backed by 5+ years of experience in professional software development
• Equipped with a degree in computer science (or a related field)—or equivalent work experience
• An expert at building web-scale applications
• Fluent in Python or Golang
• An analytical thinker with a strong understanding of databases and data modeling
• Proficient in API design and standards
• A clear and open-minded communicator (over email, in person, via carrier pigeon!)
• Well-versed in agile work processes—you’re comfortable breaking down large pieces of work to deliver value incrementally
• Familiar with unit, integration, load, and other forms of application testing
• Proficient in system and process documentation
• At ease delivering software projects with a high level of autonomy
• Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

• We’re searching for a motivated Senior Engineer II to join our 60+ person in-house Engineering team to help take this mission to the next step

• We built them all—and more!—by listening closely to customers and collaborators alike (from Finance to Supply Chain) and by being relentlessly iterative
