Who you are

Strong software engineering skills with experience in distributed systems and backend development (ideally GoLang, but not a hard requirement as long as you’re willing to transition to it)
Strong debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning skills
Deep understanding of cloud platforms: hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and tools such as Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
CI/CD and DevOps practices experience
Strong English skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Pricing – Drives the synchronization of public and customer cloud resources, availability, and dynamic pricing across all major cloud providers. Empowers autoscaling by leveraging discounts, commitments, and cross-cluster tracking to maximize savings. Provides a reliable source of truth for node pricing, resources, components, discounts, and commitments

Managing cloud deployments effectively to control costs has become a priority for organizations of all sizes. CAST AI drives cloud optimization and cost reduction by using AI and machine learning to analyze a company’s cloud environment to identify the resources required for maximum performance.

CAST AI’s platform supports all three major cloud service providers; Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Amazon Web Services. When cloud providers have unused machines they are typically discounted by 60-70%, however, if AWS (for example) needs that machine back, they give little warning before reclaiming it. CAST AI is able to automatically detect this, and immediately replace it, meaning companies using its platform will never experience an outage of discounted machines.
