- Demonstrated expertise in transforming sales strategies and customer relationships through insightful data analysis and compelling storytelling
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and visualization tools like Tableau, with a strong command of dbt for data transformation and automation
- Proven track record of leading high-impact analytics projects, with exceptional skills in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication

- Exceptional mentorship and leadership capabilities, with a history of fostering talent within the analytics domain and beyond
- Ability to work 8 hours during core U.S. business hours between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m
- Ability to be on camera, distraction-free, and actively participating during meetings

- Kard is hiring a Sr Analytics Engineer! In this role you will wield data as a strategic asset to reshape our market approach and fortify partnerships. Your exceptional analytics skills will not only uncover insights but also craft compelling narratives that drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
- This pivotal role places you at the forefront of our sales strategy, where your ability to communicate complex data in an impactful way will advance product development and strengthen key merchant relationships
- Lead conversations with merchants and partners, using persuasive data narratives to illustrate Kard's value proposition and drive strategic initiatives
- Develop and execute advanced analytics strategies that directly impact sales effectiveness and market positioning, leveraging tools like Tableau and dbt to distill complex data into actionable insights
- Serve as a go-to analytics expert within cross-functional teams, ensuring that data-driven strategies align with and propel business goals
- Innovate our analytics framework to provide a competitive edge, enhancing our understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and product performance
- Discover data-derived insights that directly influence product direction and foster stronger business relationships
- Cultivate a culture of analytics excellence company-wide, mentoring team members and leading by example to elevate our collective data literacy and decision-making prowess
- Continuously explore and integrate new analytics technologies and methodologies
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and data protection standards in all development and operations, championing and automating them for the organization
- Manage expenses efficiently, always working for a high value-to-cost ratio
- Continuously improve our automation and processes, improving the flow of work and reducing Lean waste
- Travel to attend annual and semi-annual company meetings, and as needed by your job responsibilities
- Additional duties as assigned
Our take
Credit card rewards often play a vital role in attracting new customers to a particular card over its competitors. But for newer fintech companies, setting up an attractive rewards program can be burdensome, requiring the issuer to negotiate with individual retail partners and manage the complexities of integration on a case-by-case basis.
Kard's platform enables businesses to create their own loyalty and rewards programs that are tailored to their specific needs and goals. Unlike other rewards platforms, Kard enables issuers to build unique rewards and loyalty experiences, making it easy for new issuers to mix and match from Kard's offerings and integrate those rewards into their own interface.
Kard is the first rewards platform that provides services to the entire spectrum of card issuers, and due to its innovative approach to the market, it has seen steady growth since its launch in 2020. Alongside its growth, Kard has secured funding from several investment organisations, including Trinity Capital in 2025. It plans to use this funding to accelerate hiring efforts and expand into new markets.
