Role

Who you are

  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, particularly in developing and executing marketing strategies
  • Ability to create and manage high-quality content that aligns with business objectives, including video, social media posts, infographics, email newsletters, blog posts, case studies and product datasheets
  • Strong skills in SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media management
  • Competence in analysing data to drive marketing decisions and improve campaign performance
  • Strong organisational and project management skills to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously
  • Experience working closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey marketing messages across various platforms

What the job involves

  • The role is an exciting mix of strategy and execution - as the sole marketer for a growing tech business you'll play an integral part in defining our marketing strategy, as well as getting stuck in with the execution
  • Continuously shape our brand identity to resonate with our target customers B2B customers and position flatfair effectively within the competitive landscape
  • Drive lead generation efforts through targeted marketing campaigns and implement strategies that convert those leads into customers, directly impacting revenue growth
  • Develop and manage content that educates and engages potential customers, fostering brand loyalty
  • Enhance online visibility through SEO, PPC, and social media, increasing brand awareness and traffic
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to create marketing materials and campaigns that support sales efforts

Salary benchmarks

Our take

The average rental deposit in the UK is over £1000, an amount that many tenants struggle to pay when moving home. Flatfair's answer to this is offering a non-refundable membership-fee equal to one-quarter the cost of a rental deposit, meaning renters don't have to take on credit card debt or borrow from family and friends to fund a deposit.

Other companies such as Goodlord and Movebubble have also tried to disrupt rentals, but it remains a hard space to crack. That said, Flatfair's approach, in which it becomes pivotal to both landlords and tenants, puts the company in a smart position to streamline processes and improve the experience, and certainly makes it an intriguing prospect in the space.
