Who you are
- Dalet is seeking a highly skilled Content Writer with a strong technical background in the media and broadcast industry to develop compelling, accurate, and strategically aligned content
- The ideal candidate understands broadcast workflows (news, sports, production, OTT) and can create content that resonates with both technical and business audiences
- 3–7+ years of content writing experience in B2B technology
- Strong background in media, broadcast, or video production industry
- Proven ability to write about technical topics clearly and accurately
- Experience working with subject matter experts and translating technical concepts
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Technical fluency in media workflows and systems
- Strong storytelling and narrative development
- Ability to simplify complex concepts
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Stakeholder collaboration and communication
- Adaptability across formats and audiences
Desirable
- Experience with:
- Media asset management (MAM) systems
- Newsroom systems
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)

What the job involves
- This role will translate complex workflows, products, and industry concepts into engaging content that supports sales, marketing, and brand positioning
- Write high-quality content including:
- Blog posts
- Customer stories and case studies
- White papers and eBooks
- Solution pages and website copy
- Sales enablement materials (one-pagers, decks, email content)
- Thought leadership articles
- Translate complex technical topics (media workflows, asset management, cloud, AI, metadata, etc.) into clear, engaging narratives
- Adapt messaging for different personas: engineers, operations, executives, and creators
- Develop a deep understanding of:
- Broadcast and media workflows (newsroom, post-production, sports, archive)
- Content supply chains and media asset management
- Cloud-based media workflows and emerging technologies (AI, automation)
- Stay up to date on trends in media, broadcast, and digital content delivery
- Partner closely with:
- Product marketing for messaging and positioning
- Field marketing for campaign-specific content
- Sales teams to support pipeline acceleration
- Subject matter experts (SMEs), product managers, and customers for technical accuracy
- Interview internal experts and customers to extract insights and develop compelling narratives
- Optimize content for SEO, LLM and digital performance
- Repurpose content across channels (website, email, social, campaigns)
- Ensure consistency of voice, tone, and messaging across all content

Our take
As the digital revolution changes the way people consume and engage with media, it's critical for producers to adapt, taking advantage of new technologies and the possibilities of the data they are receiving from their customers. Founded in 1990, Dalet is a media technology provider which provides a suite of tools for recording, presenting, producing, distributing and maximising engagement with media of all types.
While media production was in the past carried out in house, the scope of expertise required for digital channels now far exceeds the capabilities of even the biggest producers. For instances, Serie A, the top Italian football league, found partnering with Dalet to be a significant technological improvement, greatly increasing its production values while reducing its workload through workflow automation. Dalet's products and services are similarly benefiting a range of enormous firms, including Fox, the BBC, Mediacorp and France TV.
In 2019, Dalet acquired Ooyala's Flex media platform, giving it access to new verticals in digital media distribution. It has since developed this into a collaborative media platform, allowing teams to coordinate on metadata management, which is vital for getting eyes on in the digital space. Going forward, Dalet will continue to develop new capabilities and make strategic acquisitions and partnerships to provide its customers with the services they need to stay competitive in a changing digital landscape.
