Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in iOS or macOS development
- Strong understanding of multithreading and memory management in iOS
- Experience with Core ML and Metal for on-device machine learning
- Familiarity with Xcode, Instruments, and other iOS development tools
- Knowledge of iOS security best practices and privacy considerations
- Solid understanding of network protocols such as MQTT and WSS
- Strong leadership skills

What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead Manager - iOS/macOS to lead our iOS engineering team
- As a Team Lead, you will oversee the full development lifecycle of complex iOS projects, provide technical guidance, and set best practices to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the product roadmap while mentoring and developing team members
- Oversee the full development lifecycle of complex iOS projects, from concept to release and maintenance
- Provide technical guidance to engineers, ensuring efficient design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Set and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles. Architecture & Design
- Act as the primary engineering lead in initiatives and development
- Debug and review team members' code to ensure best practices
- Architect reusable software components and frameworks to ensure scalability, high performance, and maintainability
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and frameworks that align with project objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product managers, designers, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to team members
- Represent the iOS engineering perspective in strategic discussions and influence the product roadmap
- Lead and mentor other Swift engineers, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Conduct code reviews, pair programming sessions, and team workshops to raise technical proficiency
- Implement and advocate for high-quality testing practices, including unit, integration, and UI tests
- Monitor and optimize app performance, reliability, and security
- Identify and resolve technical debt to maintain sustainable development velocity
