Who you are
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a focus on B2C experiences and a strong sense of product design
- Eagerness to move fast and iterate: we have daily access to SMEs and end users, and this role is about applying what you learn from them in an AI-assisted development environment
- Strong analytical skills: you think in metrics and can define what 'good' looks like for a candidate and how to test our way into constant improvement
- Staffing, recruiting, or HR tech experience is also helpful
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
What the job involves
- We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead our candidate experience initiatives
- Our staffing database has millions of records
- You will own the strategy and execution to give a differentiated, zero-friction experience to our candidates: the nurses and allied health clinicians we place into healthcare jobs
- This is a high-impact role: every improvement in candidate experience directly increases placement rates (creating revenue), reduces the amount of time recruiters spend on high-volume top-of-funnel outreach, and helps put a skilled clinician into an important healthcare job
- Own the product roadmap for candidate onboarding, placement, and reengagement experience
- Define success metrics and build dashboards to track the entire candidate funnel across both human-led and AI-driven touchpoints
- Partner with engineering to rapidly build and iterate on the candidate portal and supporting workflows
- Work with operations to understand recruiter workflows and identify the highest-leverage improvements to candidate experience
Our take
Talent identification and acquisition has always been a challenge for HR teams, but the labor shortage is making it more difficult than ever. The founders of AdeptID believe that poor talent matching is a billion-dollar problem, and they’re aiming to address it with its machine-learning-powered API.
While there’s no shortage of talent search and matching platforms, from LinkedIn to Zoho Recruit, AdeptID sets itself apart by providing an API which plugs into existing infrastructure. Another interesting aspect of AdeptID’s approach is how its ML tech focuses on lesser-explored talent avenues, particularly candidates who don’t hold degrees and might otherwise be filtered out in other talent searches.
Having only launched in 2020, AdeptID's bootstrapped first year brought in an encouraging $1 million. Since then, it's been backed by Zeal Capital Partners, and the company has been scaling operations in the last couple of years. It is also a certified B-Corp, and in 2023, partnered with OneTen to improve hiring outcomes for black talent in the US.
