- Strong experience with React Native / React
- Strong experience with Node.js with TypeScript
- Solid understanding of TypeScript fundamentals
- Experience with Next.js, RESTful API design, and relational databases (Postgres)
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS) and infrastructure best practices
- Ability to reason about trade-offs and challenge assumptions to find the best solution

What the job involves
- We’re now expanding our Product & Engineering team to help us scale and digitise our offering
- This is an exciting moment to join us: we’re rebuilding our core infrastructure and user interface from the ground up and laying the technical foundations for future growth
- As part of this, we are implementing dramatic feature improvements and migrating from Angular to a modern Next.js front-end stack that aligns closely with our React Native mobile app
- We’re looking for a Senior/Lead Fullstack Engineer to join a small, high-impact team and help shape our product’s evolution
- You’ll work across our core product experiences - from architecture to interface design - with meaningful ownership, strong design input, and the opportunity to influence everything from tooling to user experience
- Demonstrate proper coding techniques including maintainability, reuse, clean code, unit testing and driving standards within the team
- Develops automated unit test and acceptance tests to ensure software meets design criteria
- This role can evolve into a Lead Engineer position: we’re ready to invest in building a team around you and your technical vision
