Who you are

Over 3 years of professional experience working with Python
Proficient in Django and Django Rest Framework
Hands-on experience with data storage solutions such as PostgreSQL and Redis
Skilled in scaling microservices architectures and managing service-to-service communication
Experienced with modern CI/CD practices and tools
Proven ability to establish and optimize development processes for better team productivity
Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, HTML5, client/server architecture, and security principles
Focused on aligning technical decisions with business objectives to deliver value-driven solutions
B1 English level

Desirable

Experience with OLAP systems (StarRocks, ClickHouse, Redshift)
GRPC and Protocol Buffers experience
Ad tech or marketing automation platform experience
AWS infrastructure experience (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS/EKS)
Kubernetes or container orchestration experience

What the job involves

We're in search of a Python Engineer to join our engineering team of SplitMetrics Acquire product
Build and scale high-load Python systems processing
Develop data pipeline architectures using Kafka for real-time event streaming and StarRocks for OLAP queries
Build and maintain distributed async processing systems with Celery handling operations across priority queues
Integrate with microservices via gRPC/RabbitMQ for ML-based bid recommendations and analytics
Build RESTful APIs handling bulk operations with Django REST Framework
Improve system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and graceful degradation patterns
Instrument applications with APM tools (Datadog), metrics collection (Prometheus), and error tracking (Sentry)
Work with message queue systems (RabbitMQ/AMQP) for asynchronous cross-service communication
Optimize complex SQL queries and database for performance
Participate in architectural decisions balancing technical excellence with business impact
