- 3-4 years of proven experience in early sales roles within fast-growing startups
- Experience building and maintaining a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting and networking
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quota and closing 6-7-figure deals with mid-market and enterprise clients
- Experience in both inbound and outbound selling
- Prior experience with selling into the healthcare space is strongly preferred, with experience in Revenue Cycle / selling into FInance/Ops
- Above-average sense of humor, enhancing the positive and collaborative atmosphere at Magical
What the job involves
- We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive (AE) to join our founding sales team in the US
- As an early member of our sales team, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and defining our sales processes
- This role involves owning the entire sales cycleâfrom identifying and qualifying prospects to managing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
- Joining the team at this stage offers significant opportunities to contribute to our growth and achieve substantial performance-based rewards
- Youâll be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, navigating complex decision-making processes, and delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs
- This position is ideal for someone with a background in healthcare sales who excels at managing end-to-end sales efforts and consistently exceeding targets
- Full Sales Cycle: Guide prospects through the entire sales cycle â from prospecting and pitching to developing tailored proposals and closing new accounts
- Drive Sales Growth: Consistently surpass quarterly and annual sales targets, ensuring strong revenue growth
- Build & Maintain Pipeline: Maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, cold outreach and leveraging company marketing initiatives
- Pipeline Forecasting: Deliver accurate forecasts and manage pipeline opportunities with precision in Salesforce
- Build Trust and Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our solutions and industry trends to serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert automation strategies and fostering long-term client relationships
- Responsive Communication: Ensure all client and partner inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally, maintaining a strong sense of urgency
Our take
Itâs generally accepted that most workers in many sectors will complete at least one repetitive computer task within their work day. Magical is a platform hoping to remove the ache of these mundane tasks through its automation system.
The company doesnât use specific integrations or APIs, rather, it simply collects repeatedly used data that can then be collated on the likes of a Google sheet or email. The platform stops you from typing the same thing over and over by populating repeatedly used text such as contact information. It's said to save an average of seven hours of work a week with its free-to-download Chrome extension.
Founded in 2020, Magical is at a relatively early stage but has already attracted considerable funding. The company is using its 2022 funds to expand operations and continue development efforts to expand its features. The company has worked with over 10,000 businesses, including Salesforce, Uber, Bolt, Disney, and Facebook. In 2023, Magical released a collaboration tool that boosted productivity by 20%, so it'll be exciting to see what other features it has up its sleeve as the company scales up.
