Role
Who you are
- Fluent in English
- 5+ years Account Management experience, including enterprise clients and or/channel partners
- Proven experience expanding accounts through a consultative approach
- Be adept at negotiating contracts
- Fast paced, growth mindset with a can-do attitude
- Agile with a tendency towards framing ways of work towards scalability
- Strong CRM management skills
- API and or travel industry experience a plus

- Have worked in tech (SaaS) / complex B2B sales
What the job involves
- Set mutual goals, monitor and guide as needed
- Understanding partner growth from the existing account base through cross-selling and upselling
- Guide new partners through API integration and business readiness to launch successfully
- Prospect for growth opportunities within your existing client base through referral and other networking initiatives
- Opening and Managing new B2B customer streams (including channel partners) ie B2B2B
- Analyze product usage data to actively take necessary actions to improve product adoption and reduce churn; Evangelise and guide customers to implement improvements
- Embracing the powerful features of our CRM system
- Actively promote and drive the market introduction of new innovative products and services, ensuring their successful adoption and implementation
- Evangelise client feedback and needs, working closely with Product to bring them to life
Our take
With the travel industry under increasing pressure to reduce its carbon footprint, decision-makers across the sector are struggling to come to grips with the data and transparency needed to make the necessary changes. The travel industry is unique in its complexity of information layers and Squake is a start-up attempting to tackle this problem.
Squake offers a logistics and sustainability solution for travel companies via its Application Programming Interface (API) plugin. The API can integrate into existing travel logistics systems and calculate the carbon outputs for any given activity or task via analysis of national and international standards. It can then provide solutions to offset and reduce the carbon impact of the activity.
Embedded across a travel company’s booking flow, Squake’s product is customisable as per the needs of their customer. With clients including Lufthansa (from whose innovation hub it was developed), ATG Travel, and Reed & Mackay, it’s working across a range of travel-focused companies, keeping its net suitably wide. In 2023, Squake received significant VC funding and plans to use this for technology R&D, new hires, and growth in strategic markets.
