Who you are
- Proficiency in Python with key libraries such as PyTorch, Pandas, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar AI toolkits
- Working knowledge of LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, Llama, Gemini) and experience applying them to solve business problems
- Solid backend engineering skills, including designing and implementing RESTful APIs or microservices
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks) and data processing workflows (ETL, pipelines)
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams
What the job involves
- As a Senior AI Engineer in the AI Centre of Excellence you will play a pivotal role in applying cutting-edge Generative AI technologies to transform how we operate and innovate
- You will design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions, collaborating with teams across the business to create impactful applications that enhance product features and streamline business processes
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to research, scope, and validate use cases for Generative AI that drive business value and innovation
- Design and build APIs and microservices to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into internal and external workflows
- Support the development, tuning, and deployment of Generative AI models (e.g., chatbots, virtual assistants, and knowledge extraction)
- Create scalable, reliable infrastructure for training, deploying, and monitoring AI models, leveraging cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure adherence to best practices for model deployment, security, and compliance with global regulations
- Develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces to enable stakeholders to interact with AI-driven features
- Continuously monitor and optimize system performance to ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency
