Role
Who you are
- You bring a passion for top notch development practices and PHP & Java (11+) are your main love/programming languages
- You have knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases (e.g. Postgres)
- You can easily create and maintain publicly available REST APIs
- Kafka might be new to you, but you’ve touched upon event driven microservices and ready to deep dive further
- Familiarity with any of the following are huge bonus points: AWS, Azure, GCP, PHP, running and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines (Gitlab, Bitrise, Jenkins),
What the job involves
- As a Software Engineer in the Marketing and Operations team, you’ll develop and integrate cutting edge tools that create a seamless marketing experience for our stakeholders
- You will also focus on providing services that enhance customers engagement and retention
- Your work will drive initiatives that attract and grow our customer base, contributing to the dynamic expansion of our platforms
- Develop clean, scalable and maintainable solutions for high performance backend systems (Both PHP and Java based) with event driven architecture hosted on AWS with Kafka
- Work closely with QA engineers on ensuring the quality of our codebase with extensive unit, integration and end to end testing
- Drive innovation by adopting the latest trends and technologies in the market, ensuring our services remain cutting-edge

This indicates a boom in business for Bitpanda, that is still on top of its game a decade after founding.
