Who you are
- 10–15 years of experience in technology or data-driven organizations, with at least 5 years in presales or solutioning leadership
- Proven success in designing and winning complex, high-value technology or data solutions
- Deep understanding of data platforms, analytics, AI/ML solutions, cloud technologies, and enterprise software—especially in the RWD/E context
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to link technical capabilities to commercial outcomes
- Strategic thinking and commercial orientation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong technical understanding of modern data and technology ecosystems
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for innovation and value creation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field

- We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Head of Pre-Sales and Solutioning
- This senior role will play a pivotal part in connecting our Product and Operations teams with Commercial and Sales, ensuring our technology and data capabilities are translated into compelling, market-ready solutions that drive revenue, customer satisfaction, and business growth
- This is a high-impact position requiring a blend of technical expertise, commercial insight, and cross-functional leadership
- Lead the development of integrated technology and data solutions tailored to customer needs
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape scalable and repeatable solution frameworks
- Drive solution design informed by customer insights, market trends, and internal and partner technology capabilities
- Work closely with sales and business development teams to craft winning solution strategies and proposals
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions
- Provide strategic support during client engagements, including presentations, demos, and workshops
- Serve as the key liaison between Product and Commercial teams to ensure alignment on solution capabilities, market feedback, and roadmap priorities
- Foster collaboration across delivery, operations, and finance to ensure solution feasibility, pricing accuracy, and delivery readiness
- Influence product strategy through market intelligence gathered from presales activities
- Own presales pipeline performance metrics, including solution win rates, revenue influence, and conversion ratios
- Drive commercial success through deal closures, revenue growth, and solution profitability
- Establish and continuously improve KPIs, presales processes, methodologies, and tools

Our take
BC Platforms is a technology company offering a genomic data management platform for the development of personalised medicine approaches, accelerating the translation of insights into clinical practices. The platform is designed to support secure and efficient management, analysis, and interpretation of genomic data and provides a comprehensive solution for managing that data across the entire lifecycle, from sample collection to data analysis and reporting.
Alongside this, BC Platforms developed a Global Data Partner Network (BCRQUEST) which allows access to high-quality real-world data. This network has seen rapid growth and is now used across many sites, including a network of hospitals, and covers over 20 countries across the world, providing standard-of-care data for over 23M patients.
What began as an MIT Whitehead project in 1997 has since developed into strong scientific heritage over the past 25 years by working closely with a network of leading researchers, developers, and industry partners. BC Platforms now has operations globally and doesn't plan to slow down soon, instead, the company is focused on accelerating the expansion of its digital footprint to provide users of its services with more than 100M accessible subjects by 2026.
