We need a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and tackle complex challenges head-on
Proven track record of success: Previous experience as a Head of Security or leading security initiatives in a fast-growing, technology-driven company is a must
Technical expertise: Deep understanding of app security, information security, and threat landscapes, with fluency in relevant tools and frameworks
Strategic thinker: Ability to assess risks, develop comprehensive security plans, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for all stakeholders
Leadership and communication: Strong leadership skills to build and motivate a high-performing security team, coupled with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organisation
Proactive and hands-on: Not afraid to get involved in the trenches, identify potential issues, and implement solutions that truly secure our platform
Passionate about security: Driven by a genuine desire to make a difference and foster a secure digital space for students worldwide

What the job involves

We seek a dynamic and experienced Head of Security to champion security across all fronts: app security, information security, IT infrastructure, and beyond
This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a world-class security program from the ground up
You'll have the autonomy and authority to shape our security strategy, implement cutting-edge solutions, and foster a culture of security awareness throughout the company
You'll work closely with diverse teams across engineering, product, and operations to ensure every aspect of our business is built with security in mind
