Who you are

To thrive in this role, you should have at least 3–4 years of experience in backend development and data engineering
You should have strong coding skills in at least one general-purpose language, preferably Python
Furthermore, you will be working with a tech stack consisting of Celery, Flask, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Microservices arch, GitHub and other AWS resources like Cloudwatch, kinesis, EKS. So if you have experience with these, it’s a big plus.
It is a plus if you have a track record of working with a fast-paced agile team with a startup culture and mindset
As a person, you should have an entrepreneurial mindset, including a strong work ethic and an interest in learning new technologies
You should be passionate about what you do and have a strong interest in keeping up with the latest best practices in your area of expertise

What the job involves

As a Backend Developer at Flowbox, you will be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional, agile team, and build the backend infrastructure for our product which is growing in popularity as we grow our user base and continue to add new features
You will design, develop and maintain backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency and scalability
You will also work collaboratively to design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems, debug production issues across different services
You will work with a tech stack that includes Python, Docker, AWS, S3, Snowflake, Airflow, Athena, Kubernetes, Lambdas PostgreSQL, DynamoDB

Our take

Flowbox is a User Generated Content Platform that enables brands and customers to leverage social media to develop marketing and sales strategies, often repurposing preexisting posts to advertise a company.

Based out of Stockholm, Flowbox has worked with a range of high-end European clients such as Bjorn Borg and Outnorth across a breadth of commerce sectors, including fashion, furniture, and cosmetics. Flowbox has customers in over 40 countries and in March 2023 raised early VC and brought an experienced new shareholder onto its board.

With seed funding and talent at the top end, Flowbox has reported ARR of 85 million SEK in 2022 and is refreshing its strategy to attract even more clients.
