Senior Monitoring Manager, Santander

• Deep experience in second line compliance monitoring or internal audit
• Strong knowledge of FCA conduct and regulatory expectations

• This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering multiple risk-based reviews across our Retail, Business and Corporate Banking operations – with a strong focus on conduct and regulatory risk within the non-financial risk
• Managing the delivery of multiple compliance monitoring reviews across diverse regulated activities
• Managing and developing colleagues to build technical capability and foster a learning culture
• Supporting a forward-looking, data-led monitoring plan aligned to regulatory and internal risk priorities
• Providing subject matter input on key regulatory areas including Consumer Duty, SMCR, and Product Governance
• Supporting the integration of analytics and insight into our monitoring methodology
• Providing clear, actionable insights to senior leaders and risk owners
