Role
Who you are
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as an executive assistant for a startup founder/CEO through multiple funding stages, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to effectively organize board meetings and other high-stakes internal and external touchpoints
- Proven ability to exercise discretion and handle sensitive information confidentially
- Experience in coordinating complex travel arrangements for executives
- High level of initiative and resourcefulness; ability to resolve issues independently
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and new tasks as they arise
Desirable
- Familiarity with biotech or pharmaceutical industry terminology and procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of CRM systems and basic financial management skills are desirable
- Familiarity with Github for issue/project management is desirable
What the job involves
- Ordaos Bio is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our CEO and the executive team
- The ideal candidate will have a background in managing executive-level tasks, previous experience working for a startup founder/CEO through multiple funding stages, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO and other senior executives including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel itineraries
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations. Ensure all documents are accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Act as a liaison between the executive team and various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners
- Organize and prioritize incoming requests for meetings, calls, and other inquiries; identify and address issues proactively
- Manage office operations including supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships
- Conduct research and gather data to assist executives in making informed decisions

Ordaos has unique access to its own Design Engine that uses reinforcement learning to turn human-targeted product criteria into their manufactured mini-proteins, which are more therapeutically effective, cheaper and easier to develop, and less likely to have adverse effects on patients. Branded ‘Ordaos miniPRO’, these proteins deliver the performance of antibodies but are easier to manage and manipulate, hence are available to use on a wide number of bespoke clients with specific targets.
