Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in product management roles in digital-first or technology-led PRODUCT companies
- Demonstrated success in crafting and scaling international consumer products, with measurable impact on user engagement and business KPIs
- Strong analytical mindset
- Practical experience in user research and UI/UX
- Hands-on experience across all stages of the product life cycle and in AI tools to boost individual and team productivity
- Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams
- Excellent project management, scheduling & prioritisation skills
- Great communication skills
What the job involves
- Our Upper funnel demand team imagines the ideal experience for our consumers and works backwards, creating innovative products to delight our consumers as they search for our products and engage with our international websites
- Develop strategic and empathetic insight for our consumers
- Own and drive the overall roadmap for consumer engagement ranging from when they land on our website for the first time to when they decide the right product to buy which may last from a few days to several months
- Lead initiatives to better match consumer intents in time and space with effective digital solutions that increase engagement and utility for our consumers
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog for driving business and user outcomes
- Drive alignment across product teams (Technology, Design, User research) and key cross-functional partners (Marketing, Global Operations, Customer Support, Trust, etc.) to ensure initiatives are prioritized for wider roll-out or piloted to test and learn
- Proven experience with end-to-end product delivery (including writing product requirements and specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, user flows, and wireframes)
- Extensive experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Extensive experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Rapid prototyping, validate your strategy, run quick analyses and more using AI LLM-based tools

Our take
WeRoad was born from the desire to bring together people who want to discover the world in small groups. Each tour has a coordinator who already knows the destination, who takes care of the logistical aspects and invites the participants to get to known each other even before departure by creating a dedicated group on WhatsApp.
The company leverages hundreds of coordinators to allow travellers to reach destinations all over the globe. It stands out from other players in the tourism space in targeting small groups aged 25-35 and 35-45, interfacing directly with travellers, and enabling them to choose their own travel "mood", in order to live the best possible experience.
WeRoad currently operates in Italy, Spain and the UK, with plans for further international expansion. Its growth and success are exemplified by £100 million in revenue in 2024 alongside 200,000 customers and 103 countries booking with it. Its next growth phase will focus on new product innovations such as WeRoadX, thematic trip planning and Weekend Trip itineraries for the Spanish and Italian markets.
