Prototype Technician, Figure

• 5-10 years experience as a mechanical technician in a related field
• Proficient in mechanical design
• High level understanding of precision measuring equipment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in the google suite or similar

Desirable

• We are looking for a Technician to assist our Prototype build team in assembly of precision components used directly in our robots
• Assembly of precision mechanical components. Including actuators and Hands
• Collaborate with electrical, test and PCBA technicians on final assemblies
• Provide feedback to the mechanical engineering team on designs
• Perform repairs on mechanical assemblies
• Assist our robot maintenance team with troubleshooting mechanical failures
• Track and document work performed
• Document issues found and communicate these quickly to the appropriate teams
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
