- Hands-on experience with integrating and configuring IAM solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, Auth0)
- Proficient in Python scripting for automation, API integration, and system customization
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, authentication flows, and secure system integration practices.Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts (SSO, OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect, LDAP)
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and data integration methods (ETL processes, data APIs).Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS solution architectures.Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS) and system administration (Linux/Windows) knowledge.Experience with collaboration and project tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, Git)

What the job involves
- We are looking for a Python Backend Developer with strong technical expertise to join our team and drive the successful integration and deployment of our SaaS-based solutions into customer environments
- In this role, you will work at the crossroads of technical delivery and customer success, collaborating closely with Sales Engineers, Delivery Managers, and third-party partners
- You will be responsible for designing and implementing technical integrations with our customers like Identity and Access Management (IAM), other systems integration like flight schedule services and ensuring seamless integration with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms to meet customer business needs
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers during the pre-sales and post-sales phases to define technical requirements and delivery plans
- Design and implement integration projects, focusing on Identity Management systems, business data flows, and platform extensions
- Write detailed technical specifications, integration architectures, and configuration guidelines for internal and external audiences
- Lead customer-facing technical workshops to define requirements, validate architectures, and support project kick-offs
- Develop automation scripts and tools (primarily in Python) to support deployment, customization, and data integration activities
- Oversee and coordinate third-party partners delivering technical services, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical standards
- Ensure successful integration of our platform with customers' Business Intelligence ecosystems (e.g. , Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Maintain and expand internal technical documentation and reusable integration assets
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues during delivery and support phases
Our take
Outsight has combined the software assets of its parent company Dibotics with 3D sensor technology to create a LiDAR pre-processor designed to help make smarter, safer vehicles, and add spatial AI to buildings like stores and airports. Importantly, however, Outsight’s business model is focused on providing a simpler plug-and-play LiDAR solution, to close the gap between LiDAR early adopters and the mainstream market.
Helping more companies easily tap into LiDAR’s full situational awareness capabilities in our growing network of interconnected, smart environments is likely to prove a winning strategy for Outsight going forward. Outsight has already proven attractive to international clients across a number of highly lucrative fields including industrial automation, driverless cars, and drones.
Outsight has carved out a niche for itself, attracting a solid client base as the industry embraces new technologies. In a significant development, the company was acquired by Billups, a leading NYC-based OOH managed services agency, in a deal that expanded Billups' global presence to 16 countries. This acquisition strengthens Outsight's industrial edge and cloud application offerings, opening up exciting new opportunities for growth nad innovation within the company.
