Role
Who you are
- Therabody is looking for a highly motivated National Sales Manager to create long-term, successful relationships with our retail partners in our Regional & Specialty Accounts vertical
- 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of delivering results
- Prior experience of selling into National Big Box & Major Regional Retailers
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent presentation skills and competent with Excel and Powerpoint
- Prior experience with EDI and Salesforce
- Independent self-starter able to self-motivate and drive the business forward
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large amounts of data are required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable in a start-up organization that is scaling
What the job involves
- The NSM will be responsible for the ultimate revenue performance of the brand and product portfolio within their retailer partners both in the US & Canada, as well as being accountable for executing against vertical strategy, providing monthly forecasts, driving sell-thru performance, and prospecting for portfolio growth
- Deliver against commercial targets provided by the company
- Provide monthly forecasts, updates, revisions, and modifications to the commercial plan
- Analyze business trends, identify opportunities and challenges, and execute
- Co-develop, present, and execute vertical and retailer specific account plans and strategies
- Present and launch New Products across partners and create marketing and activation plans that set the partnerships up for success
- Create seasonal activity plans and call cycles, by retailer, and pivot when necessary to optimize sell in and sell through
- Work & foster strong relationships cross-functionally with internal departments; sales, sales operations, finance, marketing, and education to represent the needs of your partners and the business
- Build positive and strong relationships with external partners to influence key decisions

The company was established after the founder suffered a traumatic motorcycle accident that inspired him to create medical devices for pain management and recovery as an alternative to surgery or pain medication.
Therabody's hardware devises can reduce muscle tension and accelerate recovery. Its percussive massage therapy devices are used by professional sports teams, athletes, and physical therapists in over 60 countries, with one notable partnership being that with football club Manchester United.
Therabody has raised investment from over 100 names in sports, business, culture, and entertainment, including Jay-Z, Kevin Hart, and Aaron Rodgers. Its latest funding round came alongside the launch of eight new products, highlighting its dedication to continued innovation, and will be used to fund further development across hardware, software, services, and digital content.
