Who you are
- We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our team
- This role is ideal for an individual who is excited about finance and takes interest in building products that touch complex financial topics
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- An understanding or desire to work in Golang and React
- Demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders across a variety of disciplines
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools
What the job involves
- As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products, from conception to launch
- Design and implement end-to-end product features that seamlessly bridge frontend and backend systems
- Develop scalable, high-performance applications across the entire stack, from intuitive user interfaces to robust server-side architectures
- Create reusable components and libraries promoting code efficiency and consistency
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to drive technical innovation
- Optimize application performance and implement robust security measures
- Contribute to strategic technology decisions and product architecture
- Lead by example, while promoting a culture of egoless learning

Our take
Due to startups raising funding in multiple stages, calculating the ownership breakdown as the business evolves can be difficult. Pulley hopes to make that process less opaque with cap-table management and scenario-modelling tools that provide founders with employee and investor equity information.
The platform enables startups to model dilution in future rounds, helps employees understand the value of their equity as the company grows, and makes maintaining equity plans faster and easier.
Based on the costs to manage cap tables and the potential opportunity lost due to companies staying private for longer periods, the market Pulley operates in is worth up to $10 billion. Competition comes from Carta and Morgan Stanley's Shareworks.
