Who you are

  • Min 5+ years in a strategic sales role, with extensive experience working with high-level stakeholders such as CHROs, CEOs, and Heads of HR or L&D, preferably within the Finance, ManuPharma or Consulting industries
  • Affinity with the learning & development landscape
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Located in Germany, preferably Munich or Berlin area close to one of our Lepaya office
  • Experience handling complex solutions and managing longer sales cycles, often involving cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions that positively impact the business
  • Coaching team members, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and customer needs
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving revenue targets and strategic objectives

What the job involves

  • Lepaya is seeking a results-driven Strategic Account Executive with a strong hunting drive and exceptional farming skills to join our Finance, ManuPharma, or Consulting "Big 4" pods
  • In this role, you will own the entire client lifecycle— from acquiring and managing large enterprise accounts to leveraging your strategic expertise to drive growth and capitalize on key business opportunities
  • You’ll scope projects, transform them into actionable milestones, and develop strategic plans that deliver impactful results
  • Your ability to both hunt for new opportunities and cultivate lasting relationships with enterprise accounts will be essential to your success
  • While you’ll have a supportive team behind you, your success will depend on your ability to independently track down new opportunities and nurture existing ones
  • Your first-year achievements:
  • Bring in up to 1M EUR in new bookings for impacting upskilling solutions at new and existing clients with +2.5k employees, across the DACH region
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics for your territory
  • Effectively allocated 80% of your time to acquiring new business and 20% to managing existing accounts, focusing on identifying growth opportunities and serving as a consultant. These allocations will evolve as you build and develop your client portfolio
  • Be the go-to expert in your territory for your customer's sector, providing expert advice on complex decisions
  • Proactively identify and tackle future issues before they escalate
  • Manage expectations, and articulate reasons for project or timeline changes
  • Collaborate with a team of customer success managers, account managers, operations, and other internal stakeholders
  • Actively plan and align complex projects and strategic communications to deliver Lepaya's goals
