To offer a human-first, tech-enabled approach to exploring the world. With every unique itinerary, we fight the expected and deliver incredible moments that are grounded in originality.
The premium travel market is increasingly being driven by mobile-first millennials and GenX, and yet booking adventurous holidays like a safari is often a complicated process of emails and phone calls. Sceneset, a rebrand of Origin, aims to change that with its luxury mobile-first concierge service.
Unlike traditional concierge services, discerning travelers pay a membership fee to access the app which comes with on-hand expert human curators. The technology platform then uses machine learning to provide a service that learns its user’s travel preferences.
The team has set the goal of becoming carbon-negative. Trips are currently offset in partnership with myclimate.org and Stripe, but the next stage is for the entire organization to measure and reduce their emissions impact to a carbon-negative state.
Sceneset's users are both happy to fork up for a luxury travel concierge service and embrace technology-based services. The challenge for the app will be achieving word-of-mouth growth among this narrow group.
