Director of IT, CookUnity

• The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT management and a proven ability to lead teams effectively
• Experience: Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role (typically 5+ years)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of computer hardware/software systems, networking, data governance, and cybersecurity best practices and frameworks. (NIST)
• Leadership Skills: Ability to manage personnel effectively and foster a collaborative team environment

Desirable

• We are seeking a Director of IT to ensure the smooth operation of our IT & OT systems, manage IT staff, and implement technology solutions that align with our business objectives
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and security posture of computer systems, hardware, and networks
• Manage a small team of IT professionals abroad and on-site with the addition of Managed Service Providers (MSP) where needed
• Design and implement IT policies and procedures around procurement, End User Lifecycle Management, Identity and Access Management
• Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet specifications and deadlines
• Plan effectively across the company with multiple stakeholders on objectives that support the business technology needs
• Manage the annual IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all operations
• Work closely with the Information Security team to ensure endpoints and networks are monitored and patched
• Provide technical support to staff and ensure that IT and OT needs are identified and met
• Develop enterprise-grade policies for a high-growth organization from the ground up
