Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field is preferred, though practical experience and a strong portfolio are essential
- Proven experience as a UX Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role, 2+ years of relevant experience
- A strong portfolio showcasing experience creating user-centred design solutions, emphasizing thought processes and logical reasoning rather than just aesthetics
- Experience in designing complex digital products, ideally for web, desktop and mobile platforms
- Expertise in design software and modern prototyping tools such as Figma
- Proficiency in key design activities including wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and interaction design
- Ability to use analytics or metrics to inform design decisions and measure feature performance
- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to articulate design ideas and rationale clearly to various stakeholders
- High degree of empathy, demonstrating the ability to understand problems from the user’s point of view
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team (e.g., in an Agile/Scrum environment)
- Fluent in English, any other language a plus
- Located and authorized to work in Germany, UK or France
What the job involves
- We are seeking a creative and dedicated User Experience (UX) Designer to join our product team
- This role involves applying a user-centred design approach throughout the entire product lifecycle, acting as the customer's advocate to improve satisfaction and engagement
- The ideal candidate will translate business requirements and user needs into clear, effective, and aesthetically appealing digital experiences
- Conduct and support user research activities, including interviews, surveys, observation, and usability testing, to identify user needs, pain points, goals, and behaviours
- Analyse gathered data and research findings to synthesize key insights and inform design decisions
- Create design deliverables including user flows, wireframes, prototypes (ranging from simple sketches to high-fidelity interactive models), and high-quality UI mock-ups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Rapidly iterate on design solutions and work through details based on user feedback and technical feasibility
- Conduct usability testing with real users to validate design solutions and identify areas for improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to align on goals and ensure designs are feasible for implementation
