Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years of strategic software selling experience
- Hunter mentality; proven success opening and closing net new accounts ranging from $150k-$300k ACV
- Demonstrated ability to self-source pipeline
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, selling environment required
- Experience managing 6-9 month sales cycles
- Experience selling a solution that addresses many different revenue models (direct, consumption, channel, etc.) into the office of revenue (CRO, Revenue Operations, Marketing)
- Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success leaders
What the job involves
- In this Commercial Account Executive role, you will help grow our ever-expanding customer roster by prioritizing the top prospects in your territory. You will interact daily with executive leadership at Clari to help build executive alignment with your key prospects. We are seeking proven high performers to over-achieve sales objectives and establish long-term relationships within assigned regions/named accounts
- You will be responsible for executing a strong go-to-market plan to both meet and exceed sales goals. You will manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal by executing a large volume of inbound and outbound calls, emails, and social connections to customers and prospects
- This is a work from home opportunity based in the UK. Candidates must be both based in the UK and have British citizenship or appropriate British work authorization
- Target, open and close new accounts in an expansive territory
- Pitch and demo Clari to sales leaders & execs – VP Sales/CRO, CFO, VP Sales Ops/Enablement
- Manage large mid-market deals from first call to close
- Collaborate with Marketing on targeted demand-generation campaigns
- Build and manage large pipeline of business
- Achieve and exceed individual monthly set quotas
- Execute best sales practices and technique as provided by management
- Create satisfied, reference-able and referring customers

Clari’s revenue operations software scrapes data stored in digital infrastructure such as marketing automation systems, CRMs, emails, calendars, and content management systems, before using AI to deliver revenue forecasts.
In short, its purpose is to remove any doubt or guesswork from revenue forecasts, allowing businesses to plan for the future with more certainty. Clari has built up a solid base of over business customers so far including Adobe, Lenovo and Dropbox, and has more than quadrupled its valuation since 2020, with a now estimated value of over $2.6 billion.
The company’s recent surge in momentum makes a great deal of sense. Its 2022 acquisition and integration of Wingman, a conversational intelligence company, has added a level of granularity to its data tools which is appreciated by companies attempting to navigate a diificult global market.
Clari is exploring opportunities to introduce its software to its more than 250 portfolio companies, and plans to focus on hiring hundreds of employees to grow its presence in international markets. The company also has its eyes on acquiring additional companies with technology that can advance its product development efforts.
