Role
Who you are
- You are a highly self-motivated SEO professional with over 4 years of experience in e-commerce. You possess a commercial, data-driven mindset and strong critical thinking skills, with the confidence to work with large data sets
- You have a deep understanding of how SEO works, having successfully managed site migrations and conducted extensive keyword research and analysis to guide future strategies
- You're always staying up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and news
- 4+ years of SEO experience, you thrive in a global multi-cultural setup
- You are a professional with a Bachelor/Master or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- You have a genuine passion about SEO and spread it across the SEO team and your stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Able to convey technical matters to non-technical people
- Experience conducting technical SEO analysis of platforms to develop clear, actionable optimization roadmaps in collaboration with the Tech department
- Experience leveraging audits, research, and landscape investigations to develop insight-driven strategies
- You are curious and ambitious, you want to make an impact! essential assets to succeed in our complex and fast-paced environment
- You understand search holistically and can elaborate synergies with SEA
- Love for numbers, an analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to any projects. You measure the impact of any initiative and iterate accordingly

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a talented & ambitious SEO specialist to join our SEO team
- We need your support and talent to shape the future of a rapidly growing, global high-traffic B2C e-commerce platform and execute the online search strategies
- Next to Recharge.com, our SEO team also run our local heroes brands like beltegoed.nl, guthaben.de and recharge.fr
- You will play a key role in executing Organic Growth initiatives, ensuring that SEO is at the core of business strategy. Working closely with the team, you will shape the path for on-site optimizations and take a strategic role in platform development, embedding SEO into key initiatives
- Your deep understanding of how content, social media, and third-party platforms influence Google signals will allow you to develop global or category-specific SEO strategies with users at the center. As part of the SEO team, your collaboration will be essential in driving impact and contributing to the team's overall growth

Our take
Branded payments (such as gift cards, mobile call credit, vouchers and prepaid payment cards) have been in operation for decades - but lately have experienced something of a boom. They are an increasingly popular gift, and Recharge.com is a branded payments scaleup that’s taking advantage of this increased interest.
Recharge focus predominantly on partnerships with leading entertainment and telecom giants like Playstation, Netflix, Apple and Orange. They are not the only player in the market, competing with similar businesses as well as North American behemoth Blackhawk Networks.
To gain an edge, Recharge is looking to capture the consumer side of the $3 trillion-valued branded payments market. With consumers more actively involved in branded payments than ever before, this move could very well prove lucrative.
